System/Device menu: no way to restart

Bug Description
In order to work around bug #828568 I needed to reboot using only the mouse pointer (the keyboard was stopped processing input).
Unfortunately the Device/Settings menu offers no reboot option; I had to shut the machine down using the "Shut Down…" option and then power it back on.
