Bug Description

Oneric/11.04: after about 5 minutes the keyboard randomly stopped allowing input, and the caps-lock key did not work but mouse input continued just fine—lack of caps-lock normally indicates a crash.

A restart was enough to allow everything to work again.

Doesn't seem like a Unity bug could be a more related system component
like gnome-settings-daemon etc.

Thanks for your bug report. There have been a new release of Ubuntu since this bug was reported so we are wondering if its still an issue for you in Ubuntu 11.10?
