I like the mock ups from post #38.

I generally love the global menus. Sometimes it is not so good because the wrong application has focus and I have to activate the right window to access the menu.

I hate the "traditional" window menus. They unnessasarily take up screen space and additionally they aren't beautiful.

I haven't intensly thought about it but I like the idea of combining the title bar and the menu bar in not maximized windows. (post #38)
