you assume that there is an active maintainer for that component, look at the vcs commit history and you will notice notify-osd is lacking a maintainer for a while
Could everyone stop doing +1 on that bug, that's spamming people subscribed and not bringing any value, if the patch is trivial how come so many of you are wanting to spent a minute ranting, in a non constructive way, rather than spending the same minute writing the manpage patch so the bug can get fixed once for good?
