From the huge amount of comments here with people wanting a fix, and the frequency that this bug would be encountered for the average user, I agree, it should be higher. A simple task such as resizing a window should work better.
Yet, we must sit here and "wish" that it would be fixed in Metacity for Ubuntu, and evidently it's more important that a theme look good than be usable. It needs to do both.
