When you go to workspace 1 and open an application and go to workspace 2 to open the same application, you don't see the arrows of both applications but only the arrows of the application of the current workspace. This has the effect that you can't switch to the open application of another workspace by clicking the launcher. Moreover it has another bad side effect: When you switch to workspace 3 and click on the launcher again, it doesn't give you the choice which open application should be selected. It just moves to one of the open applications (this one which has been opened at last).
