Thanks for the bug report.

This standard method should work... Removing all standalone-launcher and 'Standalone Taskmanager' applets from awn-manager then exiting awn properly should get rid of them. But if that's not working do the following.

1) Close awn
2) Run 'killall taskmand' . Chances are it will say no process found.
3) Start awn-manager
4) Remove any standalone-launchers.
5) Remove anything called "Standalone Taskmanager"
6) Start awn.

Regardless, please indicated if using the standard method or if you needed try the step by step. My suspicion is that awn was probably not being restarted.
