It would be easy to add this to the audio-recorder (no need for GTK
open-file dialog).
BTW: I have not worked on the audio-recorder for a long time.
Maybe the team (at https://launchpad.net/~audio-recorder ) will continue to
maintain it.
Let us see what happens.
