This is present in the GTK app GRAMPS too on the treeviews, making the user experience in GNOME _very_ bad.
Does somebody know if an app can opt out of ATK?
Is there an upstream bug?
As an application developer I can only say: turn ATK off as long as it does not work. People with disabilities surely can find somebody to turn it on the first time they want to use a PC?
You are destroying the GTK applications like that in favour of their competitors!!
