Comment 0 for bug 308866

Server running: latest 0.2.8 from bzr.

While playing on my server, In Limbo, epsy entered and anything he said was truncated past his name. Server messages that had his name in them where garbled. I renamed to "free kill ¶" and the issue also happened when my name was used in messages.

Appears to be a text encoding problem, possibly related to filter_color_strings.
