That is incorrect.

The most important distinction between "Confirmed" and "Triaged" is that Triaged can only be set by project members. Any random person can set a bug to Confirmed, but only Ares project members can set it to Triaged.

Essentially, if a bug has been Triaged, it has been through review by a project member - hence the name.
