Viktoria,

We have been working non-stop on snapd over those three years, including features that will improve the situation for this folder. The fact it is marked as Wishlist reflects more on the fact nothing is in fact broken, other than you and me would both like to have a nicer folder structure.

The fact this bug has the most heat also reflects on how easy it is to have an opinion about it

Don't get me wrong, though. We will do better here for sure.
