It doesn't work for me in last 4-5 boots (while it worked OK after install) on Feisty. In syslog one can see:

NetworkManager: <information>^IActivation (eth1) Stage 2 of 5 (Device Configure) starting...
NetworkManager: file nm-device-802-11-wireless.c: line 2071 (ap_need_key): assertion failed: (security)

and after that nothing... No icon in panel, nothing. After the restart od dbus:

NetworkManager: <information>^IActivation (eth1) Stage 2 of 5 (Device Configure) starting...
NetworkManager: <information>^IActivation (eth1/wireless): access point 'xxxxxx' is unencrypted, no key needed.

and everything works OK.
