Confirmed.

I move a lot with my portable. Switching from wired to wireless to wired to another wired etc.....

Although nm-applet still seems to work, it most of the time vanishes from the systray after the second or third network switch (not actually counted this number), leaving me whitout any option to manually choose which network to connect to.

Only reboot brings it back on the tray.
