Unfortunately, the problems still occur in this kernel. On closing the lid, the certain Fn keys stop working. Resuming and closing the lid doesn't suspend again. Instead, you have to click on suspend from the menu to try and get it. This causes a black screen but no suspend.

This causes the laptop to freeze and you need to hold the power button and switch off before the laptop will start working again.
