Thanks for the hint, GrouchyGaijin. I could also wipe the problem with a window rule in ccsm (compizconfig settings manager). I added class=conky in the 'No focus' field on the 'Matches' tab of the 'Window Rules' module. The window's class name may differ depending on the personal conky configuration.
