Comment 42 for bug 357024

While the use of '--' is not required because all paths will start with '/var/crash' and because it uses -print0 with 'xargs -0', it isn't susceptible to files with spaces in them (as mentioned), I plan to add '--' to the end in the -security updates, to help future-proof the command.
