Comment 54 for bug 762918

After upgrading to 11.04 some weeks ago the first bug was:

      The system did not boot
       This obstacle was removed by booting with a distro-CD, ... , chroot, grub-config, grub-install

second bug is:
      after the computer is idle for some time (no inputs keyboard, mouse)
      I cannot do any input with keyboard or mouse.
      The first, but useless, attempt of a workaround was (Screensaver Preferences)
                 disable "Activate screensaver when computer is idle" and
                 disable "Lock screen when screensaver is active"
      Also CTRL-ALT-F1 did not work.
      I found no other method than to apply an annoying reboot.

Unfortunately I do not know how to get a good description of my system, so I leave this Comment without it.
By the way: Any suggestions to ask the computer to display the configuration?
