Hi rww, a few questions:

1. Is this a regression? You mentioned you saw it with the current natty daily ISO. Have you been testing dailies previously without encountering this problem? If so, what was the most recent day's ISO prior to this one that did not show this problem?

2. Is this issue repeatable? Please re-try booting the LiveUSB multiple times and note the number of times you encounter this bug, vs. times you did not.

3. Have you tried other daily images since 4/10? Do they show the same symptoms?

From the symptoms it sort of sounds like perhaps X got loaded up before some underlying drivers or services were ready. That seems odd. Is there anything more you can tell me about the bug that might help shed light on it?
