Also, I notice you have a lot of parameters set in your xorg.conf; it is possible one of them could be putting the driver in a state that causes the artifacts. Can you see if disabling one or some of them make the artifacts go away? In particular, I'm suspicious of using greedy migration since it often has been seen to cause corruption problems.
