Sorry for asking this question here, but:

If I used this script to upgrade mesa (which seems to have worked well), are there any precautions I need to take for regular ubuntu updates? Or is it safe to install e.g. an update for xserver-xorg-video-intel? Anything I need to look out for when updating?
