Hi Julian, booted 31.61 PAE and seems to be holding so far. 33.69 PAE worked for a long time and then seemed to lock up once I've used VMWare with a huge image and then closed it.

I'll try 31.61 non-PAE later this evening.

I'll keep running 31.61 PAE for a bit & post if it croaks.
