As for me swap is on, a lot of free memory (~30-40% of 4G ) - but kswapd0 swapping like insane - swapped space = users RAM size

spapping policy - /proc/sys/vm/swappiness = 7

Why it does that?

Tested (affected) kernels: 2.6.35 , 2.6.36, 2.6.37 ,2.6.37-zen , 2.6.38, 2.6.38-zen
