Sorry my english was a little vague. By digital snapshot I meant that if you had a digital camera you could literally just take a picture your computer screen and then attach the digital photo to this report. If you'd like to write it down by hand, that is acceptable too but a but of a hassle.

Another note that might be of interest is that the Hardy Heron (8.04) Alpha2 LiveCD will be released in about 2 weeks. it will contain an updated version of the kernel. You might just want to try testing with that LiveCD once it comes out.
