@jasauders: you'll need to download iwlwifi-7260-ucode-22.24.8.0.tgz from here:

http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi

Extract the tarball, then copy iwlwifi-7260-8.ucode into /lib/firmware, then reboot, check dmesg to make sure it loaded the correct version:

$ dmesg | grep iwlwifi

The current linux-firmware package doesn't include the iwlwifi-7260-8.ucode.
