Oh, I just discovered that the installation syslog can be found in /var/log/installer/, pretty handy; attaching mine, but it seems to be a CD I/O error (complaining first about I/O errors, than about wrong hashes). The error is at Apr 3 16:14:15 in the attached file (sorry it's partly german..), but I guess this is not likely to be a real bug then (?).
