I can confirm the following, and add some interesting things:

The bug starts when moving any window, by moving it in circles you can even get the window to freeze.
compiz --replace or unity --replace fix it for one or 2 mins.

as mentioned above, It must related to the mouse, and how it is captured because using the TOUCHPAD works perfectly...
note: I also have a logitec laser mouse G9

More interesting, Moving the windows, even woobly windows while in the expo mode (wall enabled) does not lag, can anyone confirm the behaviour with the touchpad and the expo plugin?
