Commit d9f12e48d08e "s390/ipl: support NVMe IPL kernel parameters" cherry picks cleanly on groovy master-next, and I've build a patched groovy kernel that can be used for further testing:

However, cherry picking from focal was not successful.
Commit 23a457b8d57d "s390: nvme reipl" does not apply cleanly on focal master-next (but the other two kernel commits do).
