I'm bumping the importance since we should not release 13.10 with this unfixed.

According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SaucySalamander/ReleaseSchedule
this needs to be fixed by September 19 since that's User Interface Freeze.

I don't agree with the priority increase since slideshows don't "need" to be updated till after the feature freeze.

Jackson, I consider this bug release-critical for Ubuntu GNOME because from my perspective this bug has a big impact.

The slideshow for Ubuntu GNOME was outdated even for 12.10 because nobody started working on it until after User Interface Freeze and I didn't want the installer to only be partially translated (that's why there is no explanatory text). Updating the slideshow wasn't done for 13.04 so we're overdue for fixing it now.

It's really not that different from Canonical labeling several of their Unity bugs as "Critical" such as bug 1053470 for the "Amazon" feature.

I do agree with Jeremy Bicha (jbicha), this is an important bug and I'm glad that Alfredo Hernández (aldomann), Ubuntu GNOME Artwork Team Leader is working on this so I am not worried at all, this will be fixed for this release, that is for sure :)
