Make application start robust for errors in loading translations

Issue seen on windows where loading translations in Norwegian (Bokmal)
leads to an unicode error when gettext tries to create paths of
translation files.
Can't fix the root cause, but put a try .. except block to catch
any exception and install dummy gettext functions.

Fix issue "1:44:unexpected char '-'" in linkmap

Fixed by simply disabling throwing the error. This is a hack at best but
works. Note that latest version of xdot now relies on python3, so can
pull in latest and greatest only after porting.

Fix bug when re-opening a window

Do to caching error happened when window is re-openend because page object
kept a ref to the old pageview. Force breaking the ref on destroy to be
ready for next usage of the same object.
