flashing waiting mouse with NVIDIA drivers

the rotating mouse displayed when ubuntu is working was fine until I set up the NVIDIA drivers. After this it started flashing. I do not know what version of the kernel I have but I have installed flight 4 and updated it today (09.March.06)

So the mouse works okay, but the animation is broken with Flight 4?

Is this the only problem detected?

Sounds like a driver problem. Re-assigning bug to nvidia-glx. More info such as your full xorg.conf would probably also be helpful.

unfortunatly I have gone back to win2k due ot the postponed release of
dapper. Sorry. But I did get the configuration off ubuntuforums
