Bug Description

I'm running Zorin 12.4 fully patched with dist-upgrade on a low-end MiniPC. The machine is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D9YX3W6, which appears to be a Cherry Trail machine.

Dmesg is being spammed with:

   [ 15.097721] Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port
   [ 15.098268] Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port
   [ 15.098571] Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port
   [ 15.099991] Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port
   [ 15.100650] Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port

And:

   $ dmesg | grep 'Audio Port' | wc -l
   1217

There are several hits with folks having the problem. One of the more promising solutions is given at https://www.spinics.net/lists/alsa-devel/msg42453.html. Unfortunately it was a dead-end.

I'm not a kernel guy so I am mostly lost when I have to fix low level problems like this.

It would be nice if Zorin could look into the issue.
