Bug Description

When using Doxygen, in order to have text in a monospaced font, one can use:

\c foo

for a single word or use:

foo bat

for more than one word. The way both are rendered should be identical. However, this is not the case. Text using \c isn't changed at all: it's like the \c isn't there. Please fix the styling such that \c text renders the same as text.

See attached screen-shot.
