Bug Description

Right now, ZORBA_VERIFY_PEER_SSL_CERTIFICATE is a compile-time option. It should be selectable at run-time, says Matthias.

The http-client request element should allow for optional parameters to configure implementation specific extensions.

If and when we fix this, we should document the discussion on bug 866886 about downloading the base server certificates on Windows.
