Packaging for Saucy prevents use of both language-bindings AND PDF processing

I would like to install the PDF processing capabilities of zorba-read-pdf-module but (on my system) this causes my zorba-with-language-bindings (2.9.1.0~saucy) to be uninstalled.

I am dependent upon the Zorba language bindings, though I think at this point it could be said I have a special setup, following the bugfix I had to complete at...

Can anyone guide me to getting language bindings (especially python) to work against 3.0.0 as there doesn't seem to be an up-to-date version of the language bindings package visible within Synaptic ? Is it called something else or bundled in a different way?
