Bug Description

This is a duplicate of bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/zope2/+bug/141830. I am having the same problem that zope process inherits roots groups rather the effective-user therefore I can't make it access certain files I need it to.
Since we're at python 2.4 is it possible to apply those patches now to do os.setgroups ?
