edit office documents with external editor larger than 70kB

Bug Description

if i try to edit a microsoft office document via ExternalEditor it works as long as the file is smaller than 70kB. If its larger the standard download popup window apears. If i manually choose the ZopeExternalEditor application in this download window it raises the following error: "FATAL ERROR:'url'"

any suggestions?

There is no indication that this is a Zope bug. ExternalEditor is not part of Zope2 itself, it is maintained elsewhere:

http://plope.com/software/ExternalEditor
