Bug Description
The Tree order is always alphabetical. To control the order that items appear at the root level or in any sub level I am using numbers as a workaround.
There should be an option to allow "user order" as well as "alphabetical" order. Where the item position is kept and new items are added below the last item. They should be be changed by drag and drop (preferred) or UP/Down arrows. (not preferred)
More:
- Another disadvantage is if I rename an item today, it jumps to another part of the list and is no longer easy to find in it familiar position.
- Currently nearly all my items have numbers.
- Grouping items together by their meaning, is better than by their initial letter. Which is usually irrelevant to the content.
- See other apps, like Opera Bookmarks: "Sort by My Order"
Yes I can confirm this is a duplicate of bug #278417 and this can be closed.
(I looked but I didn't spot the other one. sorry!)
