Bug Description

Version 0.54 introduced nested task handling to the tasklist. I like this feature, but it only works for nested check boxes, e.g.:

[ ] Task
        [ ] Sub-task 1
        [ ] Sub-task 2

I, however, sometimes group tasks in both of these forms:

* Task:
        [ ] Sub-task 1
        [ ] Sub-task 2

Task:
        [ ] Sub-task 1
        [ ] Sub-task 2

To me these sometimes make more sense as it is often obvious that "Task" is complete once all sub-tasks are complete (e.g. if "Task:" is actually "Todo today:". I realise there may be a chance of false nesting with my second suggested case, though perhaps rare, but the first case should be safe enough.

How about a heuristic that we include that parent line as a task when it ends in a ":", does that make sense ?

That would certainly work for my use cases. I'd be a little concerned, however, that from a general usability point-of-view having a colon act as a 'magic character' would be non-intuitive. That's up to you though, as far as my use is concerned any way of grouping tasks in the above forms would be acceptable.
