Bug Description

How to reproduce:
Enter on a line:
[] Hello, world!<enter>

Now you should be at the beginning of a new [] line. Hold Shift and press UpArrow. Press Ctrl-C. Nothing is copied, as evidenced by pressing Ctrl-V either in Zim or elsewhere.

✈dcl:~$ zim -D
INFO: This is zim 0.49
DEBUG: Python version is (2, 6, 6, 'final', 0)
DEBUG: Platform is posix
DEBUG: Zim revision is:
        branch: pyzim-trunk
        revision: 321 <email address hidden>
        date: 2010-11-02 21:14:14 +0100

The routine to serialize the buffer goes wrong for this case causing data on the clipboard that can not be parsed back.

Changed in zim:
status: New → Confirmed
importance: Undecided → Medium

In Zim 0.56 you can copy task lines if the beginning and end of the selection is not a task line. So work-arounds include:

1) CTRL-A, CTRL-C
2) Select from a non-task line to a non-task line, with the task(s) in the middle

Bug is not reproducible.
