Bug Description

Issue: When using Zim as an outliner for e.g. a article or any other text with chapters, one would like to have the option to export it in any format readable by Writer (OpenOffice) or Word (MS Office). It is of course already possible to export as html, which is fine except that pages in Zim are exported separately.

New feature: Option to export multiple pages (i.e., node plus sub-nodes) to one file. This could still be html, but having all pages exported in one page would make in so much easier to open / import it in an office software.

It would make for a tidier HTML page as well in some cases. I do this with my personal Zim notes, so that I can access them wherever I am (phone web browser). Having it all on one page would be great.

Oh, yes, a function to export multi-pages to one single html file would be helpful

An option not just to export notebooks to a single file but also to store an entire notebook in a single for normal use, preferably in a standard format such as XML, would be very welcome. This would make sending notebooks to others and using them on multiple computers easier. I use Zim on two separate machines and use online backup and synchronization applications (Ubuntu One, SpiderOak, Dropbox) to keep my notebooks in sync, but in order to transfer them to other places, I have to pack whole directories in some archive file, transfer that file, and have the person on the other side unpack the files, which is a cumbersome process.

@O: Please put this request in a proper request, don't append it to
another issue. What you describe is different from exporting.

A lack of this feature is making it much more difficult to use zim as lab notebook. I was able to write a script that maintained the css (checkboxes) and wrote to pdf using wkhtmltopdf, but it's extremely slow, only usable on linux and other lab members need windows support. I would greatly appreciate this feature!

I often export my notes to HTML so I can view them on my phone. It would be a great if I could export it to a single file! Thank you.

Would be very nice--most useful for me at least as a way of exporting more than one but not all pages of a notebook.
