Bug Description

Revert to original description:
Zim supports different heading levels. It would be nice if one could collapse the headings, in a fashion similar to code folding. The end of a block would be the start of a heading of equal or greater value to itself.

Would be a great feature to have, especially if extended to folding bullet & checkbox lists as well.

Unfortunately we can not re-use a existing code editing widget as these typically match on actual content, and use formatting for syntax highlighting. So making an existing component fold on headings is non-trivial.

Anyone wanting to dig in, patches are welcome. For me personally this is way down on my list for the foreseeable future.

Closing this as a "Won't Fix" since it is too difficult to implement in the current widget. Please re-open when someone has a patch for this.

Sorry, but please don't change the complete description of a bug like this. Especially for one that is "won't fix" already.

Just open a new report instead to get it in the queue.

Regards,

Jaap
