[Feature request] Exporting Task List

It would be nice to create a ToDo page when the pages are exported, with all ToDos, like the ToDo screen

Hi! I would like to share created feature to export a current view from the Task List window.

The result is accessible from clipboard. The output layout is only an example of human readable variant used to quickly share tasks through copy and paste. Probably exporting to something like csv (there is a module for that) would allow for a more generic usage, but I believe you will quickly find even better options.

Committed this patch in rev270 but modified it to trigger from the context menu (right mouse click) instead of the button.

i am using Zim 0.49 but cannot see how to export the task list. how do i know my zim build includes this functionality and how can i use this functionality?

@Michael: this bug is still open, so no good way to export yet. If you mean the copy function mentioned above, try a right mouse click on the task list.

That yields:
Number of tasks: 36. Exported: 2011-01-28 22:26:01 UTC.

But not the actual tasks. Not what I expected :)
Is this a bug and the text of the tasks should be exported or is this expected behavior and everything the current code implements?

I've got the same error :
When exporting an HTML page,
the checkboxes lists are converted into bullet lists.

No way to export chackable Todo lists.

Changed back status to confirmed. Please don't change status without rationale.

@samuel: I think you are talking about something else, this bug is about exporting the content of the task list dialog, not about checkbox lists in exported pages.
