Bug Description
Hi,
when formatting a text with the italic style, the initial slash character is not being made italic. When looking at the wiki page source code, there's initial "///" (w/o quotes). Changing it to "// /" and reloading the page makes it work as expected. Can it made it to be a default behavior or maybe a different solution being applied so I don't have to edit the source code every time a use the italic style for a text block initiated with "/"? Thank you.
Zim 0.65 on Win7x64
Update: Now I have found out, that every time I edit a wiki page and hit <Ctrl>r, all occurrences of "// /" on that page automatically change back to "///".

To post a comment you must log in.
This is intentionally, all wiki formats only match the inner pair of format characters.
So "///test///" becomes "/<i>test</i>/" and "***test***" becomes "*<b>test</b>*"
Afraid any choice in this respect is arbitrary and wrong in specific cases. Would need an escape character in the wiki syntax to fix this.
E.g. "//\/test//" would be unambiguous and result in "<i>/test</i>" and the editor could save this in the right sequence.
