Bug Description

For 'Distraction Free Editing' there should have options to not show 'Bookmarks Bar', and not to show 'Table of Contents'.

These items add distractions to 'Distraction Free Editing' that could be removed. 'Bookmarks Bar' adds a distracting bar at the top, and 'Table of Contents' adds ' 'ToC' box to the screen.

The options not to show these could either be in options of the 'Distraction Free Editing' and/or the options in the 'Bookmarks Bar'/'Table of Contents' plugins.

p.s. These plugins can be completely turned off so that they aren't shown in 'Distraction Free Editing', or anywhere else.

Using Zim 0.65

In case of BookmarksBar you can either press <F4> key to show/hide bookmarks or click on the 'Bookmarks' button in the toolbar before using distraction free mode.

There's on option in 'Table of Contents' 'Show ToC as floating widget instead of sidepane', uncheck this and 'ToC' can be done as a 'Side Pane'*(and pick a 'Position in the window') which can be hidden in the 'Distraction Free Editing' mode.+

in the 'Table of Contents' 'Configure' checkboxes this is called 'sidepane', but in the 'View' menu they are called 'Side Panes', space and capitalization differences, and then there's 'ToC' vs 'Table of Contents' [ ?This called a regional-ization type issue? ] voting: 'Table of Contents (TOC)' for the plugin name, and being consistent with either 'sidepane' or 'side pane'.
But I guess this is a minor bug/issue that really should be listed as a separate bug.

<F11> to toggle to full screen mode and back to normal window
<F9> to toggle side pane visibility
Shift<f9> to show all side panes
<Ctrl><Space> optionally to temporarily access the index and hide it again
