Bug Description

Feature request: - option to disable automatic link creation.

I never click any blue links (that are created automatically for emails,addresses etc) but I do copy/paste a lot. Having links makes it hard to select text to copy paste without accidentally clicking link.

There isnt's really a way to avoid accidental clicking.
I'm using Zim to replace notepad++/notepad and while Zim is a wiki type notebook, it would be nice if it could be configured be plain notepad upon demand.

Link problems:

If I selec/copy terminal window content and paste to Zim, I'll have many ":. Now, any zim note name in my notebook that matches anytihng after :* in copy/paste - will become a link. So if I keeping a technical notebook and got name note names like "Data", "Admin", anytihng pasted in anywhere in Zim ":Data, :admin" will make automatic link which really has nothing to do with that specific note, except accidently matching some names.

It would be real nice to have an options to hide/disable links on some pages, so that
onecould simply copy/paste some plain text and not have to worry about any auto formating/linking. Or at least have an ability to mass-remove links.

Thank you.

Example 1.

in Zim type:
./command.sh
and press enter.

I now how a link to nowhere, while intention was to simply make a text refference for self.

trying to disable automatic blue link creation (email, etC) by editing zim source code. Where in source code should I look. Any hint will help. Thank you.

You can disable file links (see preferences) to solve the "./command.sh" example

URLs and emails are always linked - that is what they are after all

Changed in zim:
status: New → Invalid

I wouldn't agree that this request is invalid.
Wanting to handle URLs and e-mails as text can have have it's use cases.

I for example, I use Zim to take note of URLs for REST queries that I often have to call.
Copying and pasting sections of URLs to compose my query is quite hard when links are enabled.
So I have to repeatedly remove them, as each time you go to a new line, they are converted automatically.

These kind of code snippets work best when formatted as "verbatim" text.
This also prevents them from turning into links.

There is even a "paste as Verbatim" in the context menu (secondary mouse
button) to make this easy.

this is really really really annoying, even after I right click and `remove link` one by one, copied text is still like this:

```
Ciphers [<email address hidden>](mailto:<email address hidden>),[<email address hidden>](mailto:<email address hidden>),[<email address hidden>](mailto:<email address hidden>),aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr
