search dialog UX improvement

Hi Zim developers.

It seems to me that the search dialog can be made more convenient with some minor change:
story:
  I enter a query and press the enter key to search.
  Then I choose the note I need in the list below with arrow keys and hit enter to look inside
  Then I realize that I need to refine the query. To return the focus to the query field I need to press tab (it's not intuitive, actually) or use mouse.
So if it is possible to keep focus for text input on the query field for the entire time the dialog is open (so that one can use arrows to choose a note but once one starts typing the focus returns to the query field), it would be good improvement to UX. It may be even better to make an optional search-when-type mode.
