Bug Description

In the Zim Manual under Getting started the following is stated:

Use the <ctrl><space> keybinding
The <ctrl><space> keybinding is used to switch focus between the text area and the tree in the side pane. This allows you to switch pages using the keyboard instead of needing to grab the mouse. As an extra feature the <ctrl><space> keybinding pops open the side pane when it was hidden but closes it as soon as you have selected a page. This is very useful when you do not want to have the side pane open all the time but instead use it occasionally to find another page.

It works, but you have to press ctrl+space twice to close the side pane.

Example:

A note is open, using ctrl+space opens the side pane, another note is selected by the arrow keys, space is pressed to open the selected note, the new note has the focus, but you have to use ctrl+space twice to close the side pane again.

Sometimes you've to open and close the side pane (F9), so that ctrl+space will actually work. The auto hiding feature is still not working and you have to press ctrl+space two times to close the side pane.
