Date stamp for last update

Bug Description

ZIM currently automatically adds a date to a note (creation).
I had like to use a complementary behavior by adding automatically a date stamp for date of last update.
e.g: Created 10th June 2010 (Updated 15h May 2012)

I'm sorry, but I do not understand your request. Is your idea about
inserting dates, or about searching dates ? Please explain a bit more
explicit.

Thanks,

Jaap

So request to have the date visible in the page ? Afraid that is a bit difficult in the current design. The date of the last modification is available in the page header. But no way to see in in the user interface at the moment.

Changed in zim:
status: New → Confirmed
importance: Undecided → Wishlist

Yes, see the update date is the request

For this one I'm wondering what would be a good place in the current user interface to display a modification data.

Options I can think of are:
1/ In the statusbar behind the page name
2/ In a new widget in one of the side panes together with other page properties ?
3/ In a new bar above or below the editable area

As an alternative please have a look at bug #733778, which also introduces a widget that will display modification dates.

Regards,

Jaap
