Bug Description

Some of the panel icons (such as network, volume control, bluetooth, indicator-applet) got back to the ubuntu karmic's defaults, so does the Places menu's icons, and the drive icons. It happened after the latest update on 25th of feb. Also affects other themes.

hi,
That's true, i've change all icons in the last version of wid shine (same things for aquadreams, bamboo zen, exotic, tropical and sunrise). This new version include the default panel icons (network, bluetooth...). So this is normal
Places menu's icons have been change too. Is there a problem with those one?

Hi!
I've attached a screenshot of my desktop and the panel, with an open Places (Helyek in hungarian) menu, where u can see whats different. Seems like the Computer (Számítógép) icon is still the bisigi style.

I've added Bisigi project as also affected, since it's the same in all themes.

hi,

thnks for the screenshot. That's true i've change all icons design, including places icons. But i've kept the same design for some icons (computer, rhytmbox...). So it's not really a bug. It's a change due to icons conversion from png to svg

I really disappointed with this change of icons! How can I downgrade to 1.3.2 version?

Unfortunatly, there's no way to downgrade... you can use the sources of jaunty icons (in the ppa), but it's will miss some icons if you use karmic...

thanks, but i managed to find 1.3.2 deb packets for karmic and re-installed them. now theme looks like before this messy upgrade. well, let live with 1.3.2 forever...
